Telephone PictionaryNumber of people in attendance: Approx. 30
Duration: Approx. 30 minutes Notes: We had a big group of people so we split up into two groups and organized two larger circles on the gym floor. Supplies: Paper (1/4 of a regular sheet, each person needs half of the amount of people in the circle, so about 7 or 8 pieces) Pencils or pens (one for each person) A timer (phones work best for this) Prep: 1) Make sure you have all the needed supplies 2) Make sure you have enough pre cut paper The actual activity instructions: 1) Get everyone in a circle (or two) 2) Make sure each person has the appropriate amount of paper 3) The first step is for each person to write a simple sentence on their paper ex: The polka dotted cat jumped over the moon. 4) They then pass the stack of papers to the next person 5) That person flips the paper over and draws what the sentence says (give them about 40 seconds to draw the picture) 6) Then you pass the stack on. 7) On the next paper (placing the first paper on the bottom of the stack) the next person writes a sentence of what they think is going on in the picture. 8) Repeat until the stack that the person originally started with is back to them. 9) laugh. Notes: If you are doing two circles make sure they both know when it's time to pass the papers on. |
