Lip sync battleNumber of people in attendance: Approx. 35
Duration: Approx. 1 hour Notes: This one takes some ahead of time prep and is best with prizes. Supplies: Something to play the music with (laptop) Stereo system of some sort (Church PA system) Prizes! (candy) Prep: 1) Pump the YSA up and get a sign up sheet going with names of people preforming and the song of their choice 2) Make sure you have all the songs and screen them. 3) Get prizes so that people bring their A game. 4) Make sure you have some jokes to tell the audience between acts. The actual activity instructions: 1) Welcome everyone out and get the audience stoked 2) Write down a list of the order of performers so that they will be ready 3) Light the stage and bring on the first act 4) They have a lot of creative liberty while they perform but the basic idea is that they do something entertaining to the song they have chosen (enthusiastic lip syncing is a must, added dancing is optional) 5) In between performers you are the MC (or you can assign someone) but make sure that the audience stays captivated and knows who is up next 6) VOTE! Have the audience vote on the winner and runners up and give out prizes! |
